My bread and butte is html, css and javascript. I can take designs from prototype to an eye-catching, easy-to-navigate and accessible website. I have familiarity with JEST to ensure the front-end is properly tested to detect errors before deploying to production as well as with libraries such as React and Vue.

Creating models and REST APIs in python’s Django framework, I have experience digging into the back-end systems that do all the behind-the-scenes work. I’ve also toiled with Ruby on Rails and having previously worked on several customized WordPress sites, I can provide general PHP knowledge.

From getting up and running with Docker to ensuring code is version-controlled with Github and tasks are tracked in Jira, I have familiarity with a variety of tools — from the tried-and-true industry staples to the newest platforms. In addition, I have some extra design tools in my back pocket, including InVision, Figma and Sketch to ensure the production-ready front-end match the design specifications.
